„Sprechen und Zuhören“ – Ein Dialogformat für alle!
In the organizer's words:
"Speaking & Listening" is a dialogue format based on a simple principle: One person at a time speaks for four minutes—each participant gets the same amount of speaking time—no more, no less.
What’s the benefit? You understand each other better. You hear how others think and feel. This builds trust and creates a sense of calm.
And afterward? Once everyone has been heard, the group discussion becomes easier—it’s more open, friendlier, and more productive.
Who can participate? We want to offer a space for everyone to speak, no matter where they come from or how they live.
On that day, we’d like to talk with you about democracy: “How do you feel about democracy and its future in Germany?”
Please register by emailingaltona@buecherhallen.de.
Friederike Holm will moderate the discussion. Based on a concept byMehr Demokratie e.V.
This event is part of thesixth Hamburg Days of Democracyand is funded by the Hamburg State Agency for Political Education.
