Spree vom Weizen - Poetry Slam & Stand Up Open Air
In the organizer's words:
Lyrics, basslines, and punchlines under the open sky. The legendary Spree vom Weizen celebrates a very special blend of spoken word, stand-up comedy, and techno-lyrics. Under twinkling string lights in the courtyard of a Kreuzberg techno club, Julian Heun presents a wild and crazy literary show featuring beloved regulars, hyped-up guests, and a dangerous after-show party in the semi-open hut.
We’re hosting stars and newcomers from poetry slam, stand-up comedy, and music. Each round is wrapped up by the Snow King, Wolf Hogekamp, who crafts his “future lyrics” over brutal techno beats—iconic and endearingly off-the-wall. And of course, our cute DJ Ernesto Linares will also be there to add a splash of festival vibes to this full-body literary experience. 4 out of 5 doctors recommend this literary show, which is followed by an after-party hosted by Ritter Butzke, where the bass and tempo ramp up well into the night. You’re welcome to stick around for free if you dare. Holy moly.
