Of course, people drank a lot of beer in the St. Pauli entertainment district. Until a few years ago, however, the selection here consisted almost exclusively of the same mass-produced varieties. Nowadays, there’s a diverse beer scene.

On this tour, you’ll learn everything about beer and St. Pauli—from historical facts, such as why children used to drink beer here, to plenty of current insights. We’ll start in the cozy lounge at the St. Pauli Office, then visit the trendy new craft beer hotspots as well as quaint old beer pubs. Of course, there will be plenty of beers to sample along the way.

But be warned! This isn’t a drinking spree, but a sophisticated, humorous, and beer-soaked tour through St. Pauli. Unfortunately, drunk people with no manners cannot participate.
