The MARKK offers guided tours of the exhibition "White Desert Gold: Chile-Salpeter and Hamburg". The tour starts at the MARKK with a visit to the exhibition. The historical photos and objects show the close links between Chile and Hamburg, which arose from the trade in saltpetre and the associated exploitation of raw materials. The tour then leads through the city to explore traces of these connections that still exist in Hamburg. The last stop is the world-famous Chilehaus.
