A workshop between architecture, artistic work and joint discovery: At Westwerk, you can explore a special place in a new way, regardless of whether you are visiting the site for the first time or have been there many times before.
Between courtyards, passageways, industrial history and current uses, we will go on an exploratory walk. Together with architect Kim and artist Lena, we will take a closer look at facades, found objects, surfaces, structures and small details that are often overlooked in everyday life.
City stamps are created from these observations. Using a special plasticine stamp technique, structures, textures and urban fragments are collected directly on site and made visible as prints. What surrounds us in three dimensions is translated into two dimensions and transformed into small graphic traces. Between urban research, print experiment and walk, a new view of the place opens up.
No previous knowledge is required, just a desire for perception, experimentation and the city.
