Location: Leipzig City Library, Oberlichtsaal
A panel discussion with representatives of BUND Leipzig, NABU, the city foresters, Scientists for Future and the Leipzig Plants initiative.
The climate crisis will not only affect us globally in the near future, but also locally. But what does it mean for a city to prepare for this? What can concrete climate and climate impact protection look like at a local level? And how can civil society and politics work together to prepare for the challenges ahead?
We would like to discuss these and other questions with you, take stock and look to the future. On the podium, we will shed light on the current status and future options for action from a civil society perspective. Following the stage talk, the audience and speakers are cordially invited to an open discussion.
The event is sponsored by the Cultural Office of the City of Leipzig and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony as part of the project "Gewappnete Stadt - Spurwechsel in der Klimadiskussion" by naTo e.V. in cooperation with BUND Leipzig
