Stefan Danziger | Mittel und Wege
In the organizer's words:
In his new show, Stefan Danziger offers a whimsical look at the history of Eastern Europe. Friendly Vikings, a polyamorous Ivan the Terrible, or why a low-ranking KGB agent earned the nickname “Mr. Hexogen.” He uses the sunflower to explain modern-day colonialism in Europe—and what the Germans have to do with it.
At the same time, he sheds light on his everyday life as a father and compares it to his childhood in the Eastern Bloc, full of spies and double agents. A wild journey through his mind, full of funny anecdotes, surprising facts about Eastern European history, the banalities of everyday life, as well as bees and cats.
