Pure summer flair: the Sternla SchlossStrand brings a vacation atmosphere to Erlangen

From June 25 to August 9, 2026, the city center will be transformed into a summer feel-good oasis!

With 200 tons of sand, comfortable deckchairs, beach chairs and cool drinks, the area directly in front of the castle will be transformed into a summer wonderland. Whether for a lunch break, after work or as a meeting place with friends: The SchlossStrand is the ideal place to enjoy sunny days in the middle of Erlangen.

During the week, a changing range of food tempts you to come for lunch, while a varied program of events also ensures a successful break at the weekend in the evening hours - without having to drive or fly far.

The SchlossStrand is open from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 22:00 and on Fridays and Saturdays until 23:00. Please email reservations for lounges to reservierung@schlossstrand.de.
