„Still Crazy After All These Years“ - Bachelorabschlusskonzert Jazzklavier: Emmanuel Walter

"Still Crazy After All These Years" - this is the motto under which Leipzig pianist and composer Emmanuel Walter symbolically celebrates the completion of his jazz piano studies at HMT Leipzig. He has put together a best of the past years and presents a colorful mixture of his own pieces and compositions that are particularly close to his heart. This program includes works by Paul Simon and Edvard Grieg as well as compositions by Chick Corea and Kenny Wheeler.

His long-standing colleagues Florian Müller on double bass and Paul Immel on drums will also be playing. The acoustic set-up creates a lively interplay between powerful and delicate moments, combining different styles. The music thrives on an open, playful approach to improvisation and form.

The concert lasts approx. 60 minutes.
