Scandinavian roots. Her love of the Ruhr region and Sweden and at the same time the feeling of never being at home in just one place characterize
Holmquist's music. Her songs enchant with their deep, genuine emotionality, her poetic lyrics are unfiltered and comforting. Stina Holmquist has
already played several club concerts and festival shows and has supported the German indie greats Giant Rooks and Leoniden
on stage. In 2023, she was nominated for the popNRW award for "Best Newcomer" and won the Lalla:Labor sponsorship award. In February 2024
her debut EP "It Dances On The Windowsill" was released. One of the song titles on it is "Asphalt" - you simply have to love this artist!
