Stoff für Neues! – Drop-In. Nachhaltiger Nähtreff

In the organizer's words:

In this open workshop, you can come along with textiles and old clothes to repair them, rework them or create something new. Be inspired by the exhibitions, themes and exhibits in the building - and get into conversation with each other while sewing, mending and designing together.

Whether alone, with your best friend, family or flat-sharing community: at the sustainable sewing get-together in the workrooms, you can get creative with needle, thread and sewing machine and support each other. A facilitator will help you develop project and design ideas and, if necessary, will also help you operate the sewing machines.

Please note: Children under the age of 14 usually need support from their adult companions. It's best to think about something you want to do together as a family! If you have no previous experience with a sewing machine, please allow a little more time on your first visit to get to know the machine, as there will only be one instructor on site.
