Street Food Picnic - enjoyment on the roof of the Ruhr!

From July 4 to 6, 2025 , it's going to be high up: on the largest spoil tip in the Ruhr area, the Hoheward spoil tip, the Street Food Pic nic combines first-class cuisine with a breathtaking landscape and a spectacular view. Whether families, young adults, tourists or real food lovers - everyone gets their money's worth here!

Look forward to 20 selected street food trucks offering a variety of food and drinks. From hearty classics to extraordinary taste experiences, everything is included, as well as craft beers, wines and much more! The Street Food Picnic will take place from July 4 - 6, 2025 from Friday to Sunday on the Hoheward slag heap. The Hoheward spoil tip is known for its impressive landmarks, including the horizon observatory, a modern interpretation of prehistoric stone circles and the sundial .

The little ones are also well catered for: there are entertaining activities to try out on site. Electronic music creates a relaxed atmosphere - with DJs on site to accompany the picnic. A breathtaking sunset provides the perfect highlight.

And best of all: admission is free - just come along and enjoy!
