Pieces selected directly by the audience in the concert hall
In the plenary hall of the Federal Council, no more laws are voted on today, but the concert program is: the audience chooses two string quartets from the Mandelring Quartet's repertoire by democratic majority. Everyone involved is in for a surprise!

We celebrate 75 years of German democracy together - where it all began, in Bonn's government district. There will be short, varied concerts and talks throughout the day at historic democracy sites - make it your own individual concert day! Each event is themed around an article of the Basic Law.
