Film off & needles go - together we enjoy a cozy Sunday morning at the cinema with dimmed lights, like-minded people and a cozy atmosphere.

Bridget Jones smokes, drinks, is overweight and has a big mouth. She's also 30-something and single. Her mother's efforts to set Bridget up with the snobbish lawyer Darcy have so far been rather embarrassing. She would much rather have an affair with her boss, who dumps her a short time later. Bridget reacts as usual: smoking, drinking and Chaka Khan karaoke until the doctor comes. The situation only improves after Bridget moves to a television station. Here she also meets the man her mother would like to see as her son-in-law: Lawyer Darcy. But the unfaithful ex-boss also reappears - and Bridget is not finished with him yet. (SB)
