🍿 About the movie: The rich Danish woman Karen Dinesen marries her cousin Baron Bror Blixen and sets up a coffee plantation in Kenya with him. Their marriage is not particularly happy, as Bror devotes more time to his passion for hunting than to his young wife. Karen, who is called Tania by her friends, therefore puts all her energy into the farm, the medical care of the natives and her writing. Her life changes abruptly when she meets the attractive safari hunter Denys Finch Hatton and falls in love with him. When war breaks out, Tania proves her enormous energy: in a week-long trek across Kenya, she manages to provide the troops with vital supplies. From then on, she is regarded as the most extraordinary woman in the colony.
