2. add your course to the shopping cart and complete your order

3. your course material will be sent to you automatically by post.

You already know how to knit, but still have a few questions or would like to knit in a cozy group - then our knitting consultation hours are just right for you.

How does a course work? 💡

Your knitting host will welcome you at the specified location. You will then get to know each other and then you can get started.

You will automatically receive a set of course materials by post with your order. This set contains everything you need for knitting. (Don't worry, if something goes wrong with the post, we always have a back-up).

Please order at least 7 days before your desired date so that your course material for the UNDERSTANDER that you will knit in the course arrives on time.

First, you will learn the basics of knitting directly from your own project. Your host will also give you information about different types of wool, needles and knitting accessories.

Then you will knit YOUR first project together.

Our aim is for you to have YOUR first finished knitting project in your hands by the end of the course.

The course lasts approx. 2-3 hours.

My name is Laura, I'm 27 years old and I'm from Dresden. My main job is as a nurse in an intensive care unit. As a balance to this job, I like to be out in nature, ride my bike a lot, have been juggling for 2 years and not to forget: I knit always and everywhere.

I originally learned to crochet in the 10th grade. But I was always drawn to cable patterns, so I knitted my first scarf (with a cable pattern) in 2018. After that, more and more projects were added and since I dared to knit my first sweater and realized that it went much faster than I thought, there was no stopping me. Since then, I've been knitting all year round and always have my knitting kit with me.

In 2022, Oonique's Commuknitty Contest gave me the opportunity to become a knitwear designer and give my creativity even more space.
