sTruPpigTanZen ~ Doc Wör Mirran, Christoph Heemann und Polaroid Notes

In the organizer's words:

st°71 ~ Christoph Heemann, Polaroid Notes and Doc Wör Mirran

We invited Doc Wör Mirran years ago - if that doesn't fit in perfectly with the fact that they now want to perform SLOW.
Doc Wör Mirran was formed around Joe Raimond in 1982 in San Francisco - and doesn't fit into any musical pigeonholes. From the very beginning, openness was the program, openness for the most diverse art forms, musical genres, but also for the participation of the most diverse musicians. This can be seen not least in DWM's discography, which not only includes an unmanageable number of releases, but has also been created with a deliberately unmanageable number of more or less frequent participants. Among them, there was once a SLOW series: first an LP of this title, 12 years (!) later a CD (SLOWER) and finally the conclusion of the trilogy with an MP3 download (SLOWEST) - a series, over a very long period of time, released on three different media. Now we can be very excited, because we have explicitly invited DWM to a SLOW concert, a premiere after the aforementioned studio realizations.

Polaroid Notes. Discovered years ago in the void, listened to countless nights since then. Piano exposures, quite dark and quite beautiful.

As well as Christoph Heemann. You know him. He has been on the road since the 80s and has worked with all kinds of musical greats (Jim O'Rourke, Lee Ranaldo, Charlemagne Palestine, William Basinski, Keiji Haino and Current 93). His solo compositions combine field recordings, electronics and acoustic fragments to create astonishing soundscapes. Films for the ear.
