Ever more expensive rents? Neoliberal urban policy that further restricts options for action? Building as a political agenda? The housing crisis is coming to a head - and students are right in the middle of it!

At the Federal Congress for Student Social Policy, we want to delve deeper into the topic of the (student) housing shortage with you. The weekend is intended for networking, we want to educate ourselves thematically and formulate common utopias. The program is aimed at students who are active in self-administration - as well as anyone who is interested. Among other things, there will be basic lectures that provide insights into topics such as housing policy and tenancy law, as well as in-depth discussions and workshops. The focus will be on questions such as:

• Why is there a lack of affordable housing?
• What options do students have in the fight for affordable housing?
• What constitutes student housing - and how do we want to live?
