Here you can experience radio up close, watch and join in the discussion. An engaging conversation about the issues of the day, broadcast throughout Germany, made in the new old center of Berlin, in the Humboldt Forum.

Stephan Detjen

Whether G7 summit, UN General Assembly or state visit, Stephan Detjen has often been there as a journalistic observer. He has accompanied chancellors, federal presidents and numerous ministers. Since 2012, the journalist has been chief correspondent for the Deutschlandfunk broadcasting family and heads the capital city studio in Berlin as well as the European studio in Brussels. The law graduate and historian has reported from Karlsruhe for ARD, among others, and was editor-in-chief of Deutschlandfunk until 2012. From 2026, he will move to Paris as a correspondent.
