With Studio Ghibli In Concert, the magical world of the legendary animated films can be experienced for the first time in an extraordinarily emotional live show in Germany. This special concert - by fans for fans - is a passionate tribute to Joe Hisaishi, the master of the unforgettable melodies from Chihiro's Journey to Magic Land, The Walking Castle and many other anime classics.

After two sold-out tours in France and Belgium in 2024 and 2025, Studio Ghibli In Concert is finally coming to Germany for the first time in October 2026 - with magical visuals and a completely redesigned stage set that atmospherically brings the poetry of the films to life and lets the dream worlds of the Ghibli films shine.

For over 30 years, Studio Ghibli's films have touched people around the world - thanks to the visionary art of Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, in whose works dream and reality, adventure and poetry merge. Hisaishi's music forms the shining heart of these cinematic masterpieces.

When the orchestra plays the most beautiful melodies from the Ghibli universe, a musical journey full of nostalgia, power and magic unfolds: from the warm melodies from My Neighbor Totoro to the floating sounds from Chihiro's Journey to Magic Land and the epic rhythms from Princess Mononoke.

Studio Ghibli In Concert promises an evening of beauty, emotion and musical magic - unforgettable for Ghibli lovers and all those who celebrate the power of great film music.

Age restriction:

Children under the age of 6 will not be admitted to the event. The provisions of the German Youth Protection Act also apply.

Checkroom compulsory:

For events in the Nuremberg Meistersingerhalle, checkroom attendance is compulsory. For safety reasons, overclothing, umbrellas and walking sticks, with the exception of walking sticks for the disabled, must be handed in at the checkroom.
