Laufende Bilder e.V. presents: Silent films with piano accompaniment

Laufende Bilder e.V. was founded to bring silent films back to life. We want to arouse curiosity about an irretrievable art form that has changed perception and determined the way we see for over a hundred years.

With film events, we invite you to travel back in time and bring a distant era out of the shadows. When images began to run, they influenced people's everyday lives. We also want to show this with silent films: how Berlin once was, because only in this way can history become the present. The silent films are accompanied live by experienced pianists.

We recommend arriving about an hour before the start of the screening, especially in the colder months. Persons under the age of 18 are unfortunately not permitted to enter our rooms.
