An extraordinary highlight and a festival premiere awaits visitors to the 20th Bergsichten Festival in Dresden. Germany's most renowned silent film pianist Stephan v. Bothmer will be performing in Dresden to mark the festival's anniversary. He will interpret the restored mountain film classic "The Mountain of Destiny" from 1924, created by the German mountain film pioneer Arnold Fanck, live at the CineTronium with his specially composed music. An impressive film, with Luis Trenker in his first film role, meets great musical art here.
