Stuttgarter Weihnachtsmarkt

Every year during the Christmas season, Stuttgart's Christmas market enchants its guests with a festive atmosphere. The lavishly decorated stalls of more than 200 traders on Schlossplatz, Marktplatz and Schillerplatz offer all kinds of Christmas goods - from Christmas decorations to the obligatory pre-Christmas treats. The large Christmas tree and a Christmas pyramid around ten meters high are also eye-catching. Music groups and choirs from Stuttgart and the region round off the festive Advent atmosphere in the courtyard of the "Old Castle".
Around 3.5 million visitors from Germany and abroad come to Stuttgart every year to get in the mood for Christmas with cookies, mulled wine and much more. Admission is free of charge.
