In the best sense of the word, Marlena Käthe has outgrown her time and yet is ahead of it, sonically idiosyncratic and lyrically adept. A few years ago, she conquered the German music scene with her EP "AGED" (2021). With visceral songs that range from art-pop to dark folk, a voice that is as fragile as it is versatile and unconventional electro-acoustic arrangements, the young artist has been inspiring an ever-growing audience ever since.

At the interface between ethereal folklore, intimate contemporary poetry and modern production methods, her songs are like poems for a time that threatens to break under its contradictions. The influences range from Emiliana Torrini to Aldous Harding to the eclectic dream diaries of Björk - this is undoubtedly evident in her work. Just as certain is Marlena Käthe's unique musical language, which she consistently develops further on her new EP "AMOR" (2025).
