The little mouse Pattie from the Greek town of Jorgos dreams of a big adventure - quite the opposite of her best friend, the cozy (and vegetarian) cat Sam, who avoids anything adventurous and prefers to stay in "dry dock". But Pattie has to get out, she has to experience something! And that happens sooner than expected...
When a statue is unveiled in Jorgos in honor of Zeus, the father of the gods, and this attracts the envy of Poseidon, the god of the sea, events spiral out of control. Poseidon sets off for Jorgos and steals the golden fleece, which guarantees prosperity and harmony for the city. He gives the inhabitants one week to create a statue of him too - crowned with a magnificent, gem-studded trident. How are they supposed to do it?
The rickety old hero Jason, of all people, is supposed to find the legendary sapphire that adorns Poseidon's trident. Pattie sees her chance and soon finds herself on board Jargo's ship "Argo"... Even if Sam is not at all enthusiastic and accompanies his best friend rather unwillingly - for Pattie it is the greatest adventure of her life. But they have to overcome a few obstacles along the way with the help of old and new friends: Cranky cyclops, a gang of mafia rats and even a real giant octopus complicate the adventurous journey. Will Pattie and her friends be able to save Jorgos?
