Welcome to the fascinating world of Super Oud!

This unique band combines traditional sounds of the Middle East with modern electronic genres to create a sound system. The music creates a hypnotic atmosphere that takes the listener on a sonic journey.

Together with the well-known Turkish rapper "Ethnique Punch" (alias Ali Karakas), this trio is pioneering an abstract, electronic sound that pushes the boundaries of handmade and electronic music.

The two creative minds behind this project are David Niedermeier and Claas Bösling, who come from the music scene in Bremen. DJ First Claas is the master of the beats, which are accompanied by his scratches and the pulsating sounds of the darbuka, a traditional oriental drum. David adds soul and depth to the music with his virtuoso oud playing techniques, bringing a touch of tradition to the electronic landscape.

The video show created to accompany the live performance is based on drawings and paintings by Claas Bösling, which video artist Mateo has brought together to create hypnotic visuals. The combination of modern beats, traditional instruments and the use of scratch techniques on the turntable creates an audiovisual experience that combines the energy and mysticism of the Orient with the liveliness of electronic music.

Super Oud is more than just a band - they are cultural bridge builders, merging the past and the present to create a musical future that transcends borders and reaches hearts.
