"ÜBERALL, WO MENSCHEN SIND", the third album by Das Paradies, begins with a surrender. "Florian gives up", sings Florian Sievers under his alias Das Paradies.

The music itself sounds less anxious, less gloomy than one would expect after this opening. The album is in a state of flux. Driving eighth guitars open up to solemn chords, vocal effect shreds ghost through the choruses before the melodies nestle tenderly against and around the lines again - as if they want to warm them.

Welcome back to Florian Sievers' idiosyncratic style of pop music. "I am afraid of
you and you and you, because you have nothing to fear" is the title of "DER SPUK DER UNS VERBINDET". "And there we sit and stroke an animal", in "AN EINEM KIRSCHBAUM IN EINEM SOMMER", one of the two pre-released singles, which evoke indie-BRD associations such as Blumfeld or Lassie Singers in their eccentric but ingenious impertinence.

"ÜBERALL, WO MENSCHEN SIND" is Siever's poetry in an essayistic tone. Like claims
the catchy and unconventional lines that he uses as portals into his songs.
Behind them, complete worlds and urgent questions open up.

With "GOLDENE ZUKUNFT", Florian Sievers succeeded in 2018 in creating one of the most remarkable
German-language debut albums. Following the critically acclaimed follow-up "TRANSIT" (2022)
and two EPs, the third album once again features the psychedelia of the long look, the
broken real romanticism - sung with solemn calm.
