Legendary figures, amber weather and island life. SUMMER ON FANÖ is above all the story of five women: Lene, Sophia, Sylvia, Ida and Katrine. They live on Fanö in 1905, 1969 and 2023.
Susanne Behrends tells the story of their lives on the famous North Sea island from the perspective of each woman. All five struggle to finally take their lives into their own hands.
