Do you believe in spring? Why should we? Chaos everywhere you look. One crisis follows the next. All over the world, the raging fountains of authoritarian impulses are bubbling up. Democracies are under attack. Lies have become acceptable. All of this under the watchful eye of nature, which is slowly losing patience with us humans. Where should we look? Where can we find it? Perhaps in music? In harmony with texts that open the door to spring? Music is a universal language that we all understand. It speaks to our emotions, broadens our horizons and opens our minds and hearts. Simon Wangen is a trained cellist and Philipp Sutter is a trained jazz pianist. Their different roots merge into a lively mixture of neoclassical music, new jazz and Cinema Nordique. The subtle use of electronic effects opens up new perspectives, but the focus always remains on the dialogue between cello and piano. Texts and poems read by actor Jan Kremp complete the evening.
