SWOOSH LIEU Enter Ghost Hamburger Séance

Edith calls. She is an app developer and cemetery walker. She is hosting a cyberfeminist séance at the Ohlsdorf cemetery. In the form of an audio-video walk, the audience can make contact with ghosts and, together with Edith, search the graves of FLINTA people for ways to conspire with the past against the present - for a different future. Because the haunting is never over and the farewell is never an end. And it belongs to no one alone, but to everyone together.

Swoosh Lieu are agents and machinists of the means of theater. They create analogue and digital utopian spaces of perception and at the same time thematize their production with a view to questions of representation, access and transformation. ENTER GHOST can be experienced via an app on your own smartphone during the specified opening hours of the cemetery.

On SO 03.05. at 12:00 in the Cordes-Halle at the Ohlsdorf cemetery, the significance of queer practices of remembrance and mourning in times of authoritarian escalation will be discussed together with various guests to kick off the project. There will be drinks and snacks and afterwards everyone is invited to take part in the audio-video walk.

Information about the visit

The tour starts at Ohlsdorf Cemetery at the main entrance by the sign "Entrances are transitions" during opening hours from TU 30.04. to TU 30.06.. It lasts 80 minutes and can be carried out independently via the ENTER GHOST APP via Appstore. Please use your own headphones and smartphone or tablet. For a smooth process, the videos can be downloaded in advance in the WLAN. The walk is not barrier-free.
