All hell breaks loose again at Christmas time in Haus Sonnenuntergang, the retirement home run by geriatric nurse Sybille Bullatschek. While others are still worrying about where they will get their presents before Christmas Eve, Sybille and the senior citizens are making their own cell phones out of salt dough and crocheting rollator covers that turn out to be real bestsellers.

But of course, not everything runs smoothly at Haus Sonnenuntergang this time either.

What do you do when the 94-year-old baby Jesus can't get out of the manger at the Christmas party without help, the 6 holy kings have forgotten their lines and are improvising freely and, last but not least, almost the entire stable burns down? The Christmas chaos at Haus Sonnenuntergang takes its course. And just when Sybille thinks she finally has everything under control, Juri, a Russian who is supposed to teach the senior citizens how to protect themselves from pickpockets, causes quite a commotion.
