In the organizer's words:
The Junge Nationaltheater and the Alte Feuerwache are opening their doors! There is theater and concerts for everyone on our stages. You can take a look behind the scenes and take a look at the costume shop and technology during guided tours. Workshops and hands-on activities await children and young people. And in the evening we celebrate together!
Concerts:
2 p.m. Tobi Polar (children's concert in the hall / Free admission)
Tobi Polar combines his two passions, working with children and music, to create cool family rap. His first single "Roter Ferrari" reached number 1 in the WDR KiRaKa charts and became a catchy tune for hundreds of children all over Germany.
8 p.m. The Jimi Hering Experience (café|bar or outside in good weather / Free admission)
Their legendary pre-Christmas concerts have a long tradition at the Alte Feuerwache! The Jimi Hering Experience offer rock, blues, soul and jazz, all performed in the special Jimi Hering sound and using all available means.
