Tag des offenen Denkmals
In the organizer's words:
The theme of this year’s “Open Monument Day” is “NetzWERKE: Monuments & Infrastructure.”
In the context of the German Foundation for Monument Protection, networks are understood as the supporting structures of social coexistence—as connections
that enable exchange, development, and collective action.
For generations, the Philippuskirche has been a place of encounter and connection—a hub.
As part of our cultural and social network, it fosters community, remembrance, and exchange.
For Open Monument Day 2026, it will demonstrate how monuments connect people.
