As we have done every year since 2004, we cordially invite you once again to our Open Monument Day and courtyard festival.

You can look forward to a cultural program featuring music, coffee and cake, a guided tour of the complex, a lecture, tasty treats from the cafeteria, delicious drinks for all ages, a flea market, and, of course, a children’s program.

Your team at the Rainbow Factory

On this day, we’d like to talk at the Rainbow Factory about the networks that helped us survive.
We’ll reflect on the key players of the International Building Exhibition, neighborhood activists, the district office, staff from Senate departments, supporters during the squatter era, and our status as a historic landmark within an ensemble.

But on the other hand, that’s all water under the bridge. What matters to us now are the networks of today that help us move toward the future.
Which groups come to us? Who is active at the café? Which neighboring projects do we collaborate with? What’s happening in the collective network? Who is joining our supporting membership? But perhaps it would be interesting to talk to a new IBA?

We continue to meet with urban planners and architects who enjoy visiting us to study the living city here as well.

What remains important:
Social cohesion requires places for people to gather and exchange ideas, and we’re fighting to ensure that this remains available to all of us—that the structure remains intact and that people can thrive within it.

This requires our dedication, our strength, and a great deal of support.
