For the first time, we are celebrating International Tea Day at the Teestübchen & our T KANTINE in Hanover with a special program dedicated to tea culture, enjoyment and encounters

For over 55 years, we have been cultivating a special family tradition of tea at the Teestübchen on Ballhofplatz, in the heart of Hanover's old town, and introducing our guests to the diversity and culture of tea with an exquisite selection of teas.

With our in-house tea school, we also impart knowledge about international tea cultures, traditional preparations and the fascinating world of tea in various tea seminars.

The International Tea Day now offers the opportunity to share this enthusiasm with our guests and tea lovers in an open setting.

You can expect a varied day with tea tastings, insights into traditional and modern tea ceremonies and inspiring discussions about the culture of tea. A special guest will be Wenzhou Liu from Liu Tea & Art @wen.zhuo.liu. She is a tea master, author and columnist for the international trade journal Tea Times. In addition to an exciting lecture on tea culture and tea cultivation, Wenzhou Liu will bring selected teas from her own tea plantation in the Leinebergland Valley in the Hanover region for tasting.

You can also discover and purchase tea plants, tea seeds, ceramics and exquisite teas.

With the International Tea Day, we would like to create a place in the tea room and with our tea school in the T KANTINE where enjoyment, knowledge and encounters are combined - all in the spirit of the millennia-old tea culture
