Tage des offenen Denkmals

Noch niemand hat sich das Event gemerkt.

In the organizer's words:

More than 30 years ago, a traveling circus moved into the completely destroyed Freudenberg Castle. In tow: the “Experience Field for the Development of the Senses and the Mind.”

And their motto was: “We’ve moved in here, and we’ll take care of the castle.” Thanks to the “Freudenberg Castle Master Plan,” the facades, exterior staircases, most of the windows, interior spaces, and the attic have already been renovated. Much has been accomplished—and much remains to be done.

On the weekend of September 12 and 13, as part ofthe “Open Monument Day”organized by the “German Foundation for Monument Protection,” we’ll be dedicating our time to the monument from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day:

On both days, we’ll take you on guided tours and offer insights throughout the day as you explore the experiential space within the historic site. The program is included in the day pass for the experiential space, and half of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Freudenberg Castle Heritage Foundation.

In addition, there are activities available free of charge without a day pass; registration is requested:
