Become part of the unexpected - help shape the story!

"Tales of Texture" is a collection of mixed media paintings in A3 format with unique, handmade texture elements (texture decals). The series explores the dynamic interplay of bright, surreal neon colors and organic, earthy textures.

With each work, the artist invites viewers to explore the depths of their own imagination and discover hidden shapes and stories within the multi-layered textures. Online comments and interpretations of the original paintings inspired the artist to bring them to life using AI technology.

The aim of this exhibition is to continue the dialog with the audience in the real world.

About the artist
Danica Ružić is a Berlin-based contemporary artist whose vibrant and imaginative works captivate audiences, bring joy and inspire self-reflection. Born in Zagreb, Croatia, Danica experienced frequent moves in her youth, with art and family always being her constants.

Her studies in psychology shaped her fascination with the therapeutic potential of creativity. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Danica turned to urban sketching, which deepened her self-exploration and healing through art.

Her recent abstract paintings, characterized by bright colors, mythical creatures, rainbows and glitter, celebrate childlike imagination and invite viewers to self-discovery. Danica's mission is to inspire others and present creativity as a powerful tool for healing and self-expression.

She encourages the celebration of the beauty and complexity of the self and advocates for authenticity and vulnerability in a changing world.

In her painting workshops "Beyond the Brush: Alternative Art Practices", she shares her passion and inspires participants to create abstract art from recycled materials.

Her works, which arouse curiosity and evoke a sense of possibility, blur the boundaries between reality and fantasy.

The aim of this exhibition is to continue the dialog with the audience outside of the virtual and within the real world.
