Choir and tango? And a liturgical text together with the most sensual of dances - how does that fit together? Very well, as you can hear in this concert. In general, it is a concert of discoveries. Because when do you ever hear a bandoneon in a concert hall? The accordion's sister was invented in Chemnitz and began its triumphal march when the bandoneon found its way into South American tango orchestras at the beginning of the 20th century. Since then, it has become indispensable and is praised in Argentina as "the best German invention". String orchestra, bandoneon, piano and our Philharmonic Choir - let yourself be carried away into a musical world full of passion, pride and sensuality!
