The cult musical DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE returns to the Stage Apollo Theater in Stuttgart in 2027 and takes the audience into a gruesomely beautiful world full of seduction, humor and dark secrets. Based on the classic film of the same name by Roman Polanski, the show tells the story of the absent-minded vampire researcher Professor Abronsius and his assistant Alfred, who stumble upon the trail of the mysterious Count von Krolock in the snowy expanses of Transylvania.
With furious dance scenes, opulent costumes, spectacular stage sets and the legendary rock ballads by Jim Steinman, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE combines great musical magic with black humor and goosebump-inducing moments. Songs such as "Totale Finsternis" have long been among the best-known musical anthems of all and ensure enthusiastic audiences night after night.
Since its premiere in 1997, DANCE OF THE VAMPIRE has become a worldwide success and has already thrilled millions of people in numerous countries. Stuttgart in particular is one of the musical's most successful venues - a real audience favorite that is now returning in a spectacular new production.
