The Ramatou Orchestra presents its debut album: "Ramatou"! The eight-piece band from Frankfurt am Main celebrates the joy of playing with sophisticated, driving rhythms and colorful harmonies: groove in multi-color!

Feel the space. Melting time. Swinging in the air, shaking on the ground, sticking together and; -colorful in the densest branches, a parrot screeches somewhere. The alternation of elaborate arrangements, energetic improvisation, shimmering soundscapes, melodies - as if heard before - and pulse, pulse again and again carries the outside to the grave, dancing and only for a moment, and celebrates the new again and again and again.

Not really jazz, not funk, not soul, not world, not afro, not urban or rural either: Ramatou invites you to the tribal festival of world society, the dance of death to everyday events, the little rite of disorder, the carnival of things.
