The accordion... It's not an instrument that you just play - you open and close it like a lung, and worlds are created with every puff. Together with the Kulturzentrum Kammgarn, the Lauterer accordionist Alexandra Maas invites you to a special concert evening that brings the fascinating worlds of this fascinating instrument to life. Named "Instrument of the Year" by the Landesmusikrat 2026, five enthusiasts will pay homage to their keys and buttons on this evening, and in very different ways. Whether chanson, musette, tango, jazz or original literature, the audience can expect a program that shows the breath, dynamics and expressiveness of the accordion in many of its facets. Listen to stories that only the accordion can tell.... And learn some interesting facts about the most heavenly instrument on earth.
