Sometimes you don’t have to travel far to experience great music. Sometimes it just comes to you.
The TaunusRock Open-Air gives eight bands from the region exactly what they deserve: a real stage, a real audience, a real moment. Starting at 2:00 p.m., Taunusstein transforms into a festival stage—featuring acts from Taunusstein and the Rheingau-Taunus district that showcase just how much talent lies right on our doorstep. The evening belongs to the headliner. But the day? That belongs to all of us.
Under the motto “The Taunus Celebrates Its Heroes,” the TaunusRock Open-Air provides regional musicians with a professional platform. Eight acts from Taunusstein and the Rheingau-Taunus district will perform starting at 2:00 p.m. in 45-minute intervals, before the evening’s headliner takes the stage at 9:00 p.m. The concept is deliberately community-oriented: authentic, local, and family-friendly—a festival for everyone.
Free—but still a big event
The concert is free. Free admission—anyone who would like to support the local music scene and the event can do so through voluntary donations. The funds raised go directly toward the organization, stage technology, and fair compensation for the performing bands. Transparency in the handling of donations goes without saying. With the kind support of the City of Taunusstein, Stadtwerke Taunusstein, and Stata GmbH, as well as many clubs, companies, and institutions, the TaunusROCK Open-Air is set to be a huge musical success.
