taz feiert 45. Geburtstag - taz Talk am 16.04.

In the organizer's words:

What has become of us? How young, how old, how middle-aged is that - 45 years? And what's next for taz, now and in the future?

But instead of just talking to those who have been doing the taz in publishing and editing for ages, in this taz Talk we talk to two young makers of the taz: Johannes Drosdowski and Funmi Olanigan. What answers do they give to the questions: Why was the taz actually founded? Do they still sense a mood of upheaval at taz today? What do they think about technical upheavals and innovations in journalism; what is left-wing for them today?

Or is the semi-fresh taz, now 45 years old, entering a harsh midlife crisis? What is Olanigan and Drosdowski's view of the taz project, which has become highly professionalized over the years - and yet has retained an anarchic core?

Guests in the talk:

🐾 Adefunmi Olanigan, has been a taz Panter volunteer for a year and is currently discovering wochentaz. She previously studied biochemistry. Likes to write about science and social inequality.

🐾 Johannes Drosdowski, head of news and media editor at taz, has been at taz for four or five or six years. He doesn't know exactly, because he rather slipped into it that way.

Moderation:

🐾 Harriet Wolff, taz trutheditor with a soft spot for France, has been at taz since 2013 and is still passionate about her favorite project "Come on, let's make a taz".

🐾 Jan Feddersen, editor for special projects at taz, author for decades and curator of the taz lab, has been working at taz headquarters in Berlin since 1996.

A taz Talk also about generations of taz makers, their different perspectives and desire for change.
