The star quartet of tomorrow

Founded at the renowned Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the Fibonacci Quartet quickly attracted attention at numerous competitions and is now one of the most exciting young quartets in Europe. The four young international musicians will perform quartets by Beethoven and Bartók in the Laeiszhalle, both of whom shaped the instrumentation with revolutionary ideas and are among the absolute classics. Beethoven already caused a sensation with his very first quartet op. 18, while Bartók evokes Bulgarian folk music in his fifth string quartet in his typical manner and with unbridled energy.
