Tetrap-Act-on Foodwaste - the world's largest art exhibition against food waste
The Tetrapacks represent the amount of food that is thrown away even though it is still edible. Because food waste is a problem that affects us all. We eat several times a day, regardless of our culture and eating habits.
However, we no longer value what has been grown, harvested and transported in such a resourceful way. According to www.drawdown.org, this makes reducing food waste the most effective climate protection measure.
"TETRAP-Act on Foodwaste" is the major educational and art project on food waste in Munich. The artworks were made from a total of 96,723 used Tetrapacks, which were collected in a globally unique campaign. In this way, we can draw attention to the far too high level of food waste in our city.
From June 30, 25 different works of art on the subject of food waste will be created by 25 artists in several districts throughout Munich over a period of 4 weeks!
