Mariybu

She is the Queen Bee of German hyperpop: in recent years, Berlin artist Mariybu has made a name for herself far beyond the queer scene as a visionary singer, producer and empowering role model. Sometimes strong and combative, sometimes sweet and playful, but always uncompromisingly herself - this is how the musician presents herself on stage.

With ein tag göttin, Mariybu delivers a declaration of love to the Berlin nights - raw, loud and boundless. Between technoid hyperpop, hardstyle, dreamwave and rap, she talks about escapism, queerness and a life beyond social norms. Tracks like "ein, zwei schläge" or "lass mich gehen" celebrate self-empowerment, while songs like "klappkaribik" or "8 uhr" also give space to loneliness and emptiness. Mariybu is more personal than ever - and makes it clear: intoxication is nice, but truth remains.
