At the end of the textOUR reading series, the ad hoc poetry collective meets the next generation of young writers: Anja Engst and Luise John exchange ideas with pupils from the creative writing course at Neukölln's Albert-Einstein-Gymnasium. The eighth-graders developed their own texts and photographs in response to texts from the collective textOUR poetry weave, which grew from reading to reading and online, which they will present in the evening.

In readings and discussions, they will all provide insights into their writing experiences and the texts and photographs they have created. The young people will also exhibit selected pictures that they have taken with disposable cameras.

The evening will be moderated by youth literature mediator Sara Hauser, who accompanied the creation of the works together with teacher Christian Gröschel and photographer Sina Niemeyer.

Anja Engst lives in Berlin and studied philosophy, cultural reflection and literature in Witten/Herdecke, Frankfurt (Oder) and Warsaw. She is currently studying literary writing at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. Her prose and poetry have appeared in Jenny and Kapsel, among others. She is currently researching the relationship between immunity and literature in German-language coronavirus literature. She is part of the poetry collective das ad hoc.

Luise John is a trained occupational therapist and studies fine arts at the HBK Braunschweig in the Majewski class. She devotes herself primarily to painting, text and photography. She is a member of the poetry collective das ad hoc.

Sara Hauser is a poet & literary mediator and has been writing creatively and multilingually with young people in self-initiated formats since 2019. She leads writing workshops and training courses for wortbau e.V., the International Literature Festival Berlin and The Poetry Project, among others. She has co-curated the reading series textOUR since 2024. In 2026, Sara received the working grant for German-language literature for work on her manuscript stuck.
