Like no other German band, they stand for a modern rock 'n' roll sound in the style of the 1950s and 60s. At their concerts, people dance, sing and party without restraint. THE BASEBALLS conquered the top positions in the charts with their first album "Strike!" in 2009, not only in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, but also in numerous European countries. They received gold and platinum awards, played sold-out tours and won awards such as the Finnish music prize EMMA, the European Border Breakers Award and twice the ECHO. On the following seven studio albums, THE BASEBALLS continued to dedicate themselves to their mission of transforming current songs and big hits into the rock'n'roll of the 1950s and 60s. While Digger announced his departure from the band in the summer of 2023, THE BASEBALLS' musical journey continued with Sam and Basti. The current album "That ́s Alright" was released on 27.09.2024. As a duo, Sam and Basti have given the band a complete, almost radical makeover, because THE BASEBALLS sound more modern than ever. They have also re-recorded some of their cult hits and nothing could be more fitting than naming their ninth album "That's Alright". Their first single, "Sad On A Summer Day", is one of four original compositions - another first for THE BASEBALLS in 2024. THE BASEBALLS will also be on the road with their live band in 2026. "We feel most at home on club stages!" says Sam happily. "It's unbelievable that more than 15 years after our debut album, we can celebrate the rock'n'roll lifestyle with the audience for two hours every night and just enjoy the moment," adds Basti.
