40 years after Queen's last major tour with Freddie Mercury as frontman, "Break Free" are celebrating their 10th stage anniversary once again with a rousing tribute to one of the greatest bands of all time.
"Break Free" is the ultimate Queen tribute show.
Their show aims to reconstruct the impressive live performances of the British supergroup as faithfully as possible. Of course, the matching show costumes, sweeping Brian May guitar solos and the extravaganza of a Freddie Mercury, who himself once said:
"Our concerts are not a reeling off of our albums, but a theatrical experience."
To achieve this, the four excellent musicians of "Break Free" have worked their way into the smallest details over the years. The result is an impressive live show of the highest quality that delights audiences worldwide with its intoxicating joy of playing.
In Giuseppe Malinconico, the Italian band has a first-class singer who is undoubtedly one of the absolute top Freddie Mercury interpreters in Europe. The quartet is completed by guitarist Paolo Barbieri, bassist Sebastiano Zanotto and drummer Kim Marino.
With the title of their German tour "The Best Of Queen", they are not promising too much: their repertoire includes the best songs from the Queen catalog, including pop-rock hits such as "I want it all" and "Radio Gaga", the epic world hit "Bohemian Rhapsody", soulful ballads such as "Love of my Life" or the gospel-like "Somebody to love". Of course, the band's namesake song "I want to break free" and the stadium anthems "We will rock you" and "We are the champions" are also included.
Even more than 30 years after the tragic death of their singer and frontman Freddie Mercury, the great songs of Queen remain immortal through "Break Free". Of course, Freddie's last great hit, "The show must go on", should not be missed.
