The duo, the bottomline, has already caused a sensation in the Cologne music scene and beyond in recent years with their unique genre mix of Jazz, Classical music, and Trip-Hop. Franzis Lating (voc, p, synth) and Johannes Elia Nuß (drums, synth) merge with their live program for their 2022 studio debut album, FORGOTTEN STARS, seemingly disparate musical styles, and prove that it is possible to explore complex contemporary issues through music. Music journalists praised them as "a congenial, musically and technically highly talented duo" (KStA) and "highly up-to-date" (NDR Kultur Neo). the bottomline takes the listener on an intergalactic journey where space and time seem to dissolve.
